I was led to believe (reading the in-game Guide) that using powers more often is wise to have bigger presence in the civilization, that using some powers would increase the regeneration rate significantly.

But the thing with Creator Points (CP), they regenerate so slow later game (quite slow in the early too tbh) when the amount of believer is only like 20% of the population. So using power "often" is out of reach, and when I can do some powers I'm rewarded only 1 new follower, which automatically reduced because some other follower died of old age. In many of my playthrough, I've never reach half of my population as believer after the population reach more than 20 nuggets.

I can however sacrifice some nuggets to get some instant CP, but I was also led to believe that sacrificing nuggets reduce the CP regeneration rate. As much as I hate to sacrifice nuggets, I have to do it because I feel that the CP regeneration rate isnt significantly changing no matter how often I use creator powers.

I really want to know how the regeneration rate actually works, and what am I doing wrong being a non violent creator? Is sacrificing the only way to be a powerful creator?

I'm struggling with this a lot more than on previous play throughs. I'll use lighting for wolf attacks and exile village attacks, and get nothing. Joly of joy, rejuvenation, telekenisis, etc. Nothing builds believers fast enough to recoup for the CP spent to get there. Not having much luck.

Believer count has no impact on the amount of CP generation. It's entirely done via the Love/Fear system, impacting your passive CP generation, and CP generation for sacrificing nuggets at the Enclave

The ways I have found to increase your Love so that your CP passive regeneration goes up is my utilising the health power, joy power (when needed) and forestation. This is where I am currently am sat with it.

Note the amount of nuggets I have in the top right. Your believer count doesn't affect it.

I've been using the forestation and jolt of joy more lately, but haven't healed as many injured nugs because you know, why bother since I have a hospital. Maybe I'll try that more.

@bakemonHealing I have found increases love the most from my experience, and sacrificing nuggets doesn't cause that much of a dramatic fear increase as much as using a devastation power like electricity or tornado sacrificing a nugget here or there wont be that big of an issue you can can get it back with one or two heals. The number of believers only effects what powers you can use I think 10 is all that is currently required to be able to use all powers atm.

Love to shed light on to the CP regeneration. For me in the beginning before the patches of late last year and early 2019 up to here and now I did have problems.

For me I thought of it as I'm not use to the game so let me see what my play style is, after the patches came I felt like I did see change in regeneration. Also felt it

was also cause of my playstyle changing to for the better, I can say the CP is VERY generous in Universim. I played today after the recent modern era pact and

got to MAX a womping 1000 CP. My trick? Don't use your CP! I don't force anything, I believe like humans my nuggets should think for themselves and they are HIGHLY

efficient, also I keep my speed maxed ALWAYS when building and waiting for research. I do feel the research speeds up a lot when the forward button is pressed.

Cause I do believe the Dev's made research a long side of the same speed your nuggets are working, so I assume it goes fast when I have speed on and stops when I

need to do alarm for tornadoes and sandstorms. Again though, don't use your CP all willy nilly, I say use it for growing trees for more refined wood cause that will still keep you at

900+.
