Builders do not stop making houses v 0.0.8

Recommended Posts

What client version you downloaded: standalone PC

What part of the system was the bug/issue encountered in:  Game client

Are you able to replicate the problem:  Always

Detailed description of the problem:   Nugget builders will always build houses, directly after placing another building. You cannot abort them, destroy them or stop the nuggs from finishing a house first before starting the project you laid out. Often they will build a succession of houses while ignoring buildings player placed. Most cases if a pump and well are not placed right at start, that means the nuggets die of thirst building homes, while the well and pump go ignored.

This bug is already known. Not much of a bug but a gameplay flaw. Thanks for following the proper format though. We have some upcoming AI changes that will change the way stone huts are built.

So im only posting this here because ive made this little discovery myself. If you do not turn on auto mating you can actually limit how fast and how many stone huts are built. As you can see here, i was able to get 2 pumps and a well up before they completed one hut. Once finished with hut they went back to building well. Well finished and they finally started on a second house. The second was on top of the first almost.  Decided to add that here as well. Thanks!

Nuggets will build houses based on population.  So as the children nuggets become adults, one of the first thing they will do is look to build a house for their family (or future family)....which is why you notice they did not build new huts when you disabled auto-mating.

As for your last picture with overlapping (im assuming thats what you are trying to show), the dev's are working on this and hopefully this issue will be resolved for next upcoming patch.
