    Recieved Exile City help message, after sending resources and accepting; quick saved using alt+F7 followed by game freezing and crashed crash.dmp error.log
  4. Unity crash on startup

    Game was working correctly until grass patch. Installed update and now I get the unity error in capture.png every time I try to launch. After clicking to launch game steam window pops up saying preparing to launch then I get the error. rebooted reinstalled to new location rebooted same error verified updated graphics drivers crash.dmp error.log
  5. Game crashes upon game start.

    Version : The gif included shows that after clicking "Start New Life" the game begins to load and then after about 7 seconds the background and loading icon freezes which is followed by "Universim.exe is not responding" b752001083b6c2011005e0dd178f4bc3.mp4 I could not find any logs in either my user appdata directory nor the universim directory on my hard drive. Computer Stats: I've tried verifying the game files via steam, deleting and reinstalling the game, updating/reinstalling my graphics card driver, as well as defragmenting my hard drives. If there is another file path that includes the log files please let me know where i can find them so that I may post them. Furthermore, I'm running the newest version of Windows 10.

SUMMARY Game crashes after clicking 'start new life' REPLICATION Start game (from command line or steam, with or without steam overlay) Theres some music but with a black screen (presumably splash screen not loading) Then menu appears - rotating planet and all (very pretty) Click on 'new game' Game exists while displaying cute loading messages OS mint 19 (based on ubuntu 18.04) fully updated (2 day old fresh install as it happens) GeForce GTX 980M with nvidia 390.48 drivers OTHER NOTES Missing libs messages in Player.log The\ Universim/The\ Universim_Data/Mono/x86_64 only has these files: libMonoPosixHelper.so libmono.so Tried uninstall and re-install, and verification no change *** There are two other reports like this one attached to even though they are not for a mac and they are reporting a different problem. Perhaps @dissonance and @Haeffound 's posts should be moved here? or maybe they can just '+1' with a link to their other post Player.log
  7. Crash on linux

    Hi there, I just bought the game on Humble Bundle, and installed it via Steam, but it crashed when I try to play it. It starts and I can get into in the settings, but when hitting "start new live" it start loading and soon after it crashed. This is the last of the log (when starting Steam via terminal) did not copy everything from when the game started because that is long.   8. hi, So i bought a copy of the game yersteday on steam ( gush im actually at 7 hour of game time) and I think im on the version 0.0.26 ? Actually there is a problem with the savegame filesystem engine , I don't know why but every time you click on your altar to make a save the game start to freeze a lot ( but you can save properly). after you reach a certain amount of population cap ( close to 50 ) nothing will save and when you try to make a save with 100 of population boom. Nothing work and the game just crash. Any clue or pinpoint of what I can do to fix this thanks (i could give one of my savegame file if i get information on where to get them )
  9. The game will sometimes crash on the loading screen when loading a save. It usually faults in mono.dll Also the loading screen will often severely lag or freeze. This lag/freeze can take a few minutes to up to TEN minutes to resolve The bigger the save (more nuggets, buildings, etc) the longer that load takes and is more crash prone.
  10. Game is crashing after loading is finished when starting new game. Probably the game is looking for the steam libraries in wrong location or the libraries are missing. Player.log EDIT: I'm using Fedora 28 x86_64.
  11. This is still unfortunately happening rendering the game unplayable and I have not got any support since the below post. I do hope someone can look into this. Thanks

    Crash during wind storm Consistency Only once so far. Steps to reproduce Was in the middle of a wind storm trying to place a cemetery plot because Nugglets were dying.     Latest version of the game on Windows 10 OS, launched from desktop. PC specs: -ASUS laptop -Intel i7-4710HQ CPU 2.5GHz clocked at 3.5GHz -12GB RAM -Nvidia geforce GTX 870M Game settings in order: -Auto detect -Fullscreen -Display 1 -High -High -Midway on slider -High -Off -Pre texture I was able to replicate the crash by spamming heal godpower in the most recent save. Playing the game for the first time in a while, and enjoying all the new and updated content. Had a sizeable gathering of 32 Nuggets and surviving for 2 winters, so there were a lot of activity on screen. Until half of them died of starvation. But i digress. I found that the healing power of the game did not take away any of my godpower, so I spammed it (ALOT of intense godrays) in an attempt to save some of my nuggets as all the buildings were collapsing. I turned the camera fast, and that's when the game crashed. First time reporting anything anywhere; sorry in advance for bad report.   17. crash report lizard candy update Consistency - I think it is quite consistent. Steps to reproduce - nuggets population over 65 starting winter with 0 food. Then famine starts during winter. Nuggets endure the winter, sandstorm hits the civilization starting of following spring. Speedy population drop due to sandstorm and famine. Population drops to 40. Lots of notification stacks up.   18. Fisherman can't get to dock then game crashes. Reload the game a 2nd time. I move the fisherman, but he is dead. Also a notice of 16 nuggets being born when I load the save game. Also, the dialog box won't go away when I hit escape from the dock and the worker shows as dead even though I threw him in space. Eventually I was able to continue on after reloading a 2nd time. The hospital also showed as locked even though it was researched and I could build it. EDIT: Also another worker later died and was stuck under the fisherman building. I had to destroy the building and then I was able to remove the dead body. In addition the funeral building only works once for me and then it's never used again for any other dead bodies. How to submit Crash Reports Consistency - Has happened multiple times in various game plays. Steps to reproduce - Fisherman tries to get to the dock to go eat, drink, etc. Build information & game settings. - Windows 10, 980 GTX, I7 2600k 3.2 quad Output log.     Haven't been able to launch Hi, sorry if this belongs somewhere else. Can't get the game to launch after a dozen tries and a reinstall, am I missing something?     GPU Crash Game Version: 0_0_9_1606151805 GPU: AMD MSI R9 280X crossfire (crossfire disabled) CPU: AMD FX-8350 RAM: 32GB OS: Windows 10pro 64 Able to play game for less than a minute before black screen. Unable to interact with anything and must manually restart. There does not seem to be an event generated, other than the event describing the manual restart. The AMD support pages have noted this occurrence the Unity 5 engine. In have certainly noticed this as well. It seems to only happen with Unity 5 plus Windows 10 and certain AMD chipsets. (But this is just here-say to be honest, AMD has not commented from what I can tell.) Though, it does not seem to be so much on your end, more Unity and those other companies. Just thought you should know. Certainly hope this issue is fixed soon, I just bought the game and would like to follow its progress.

I had the same problem yesterday, but I uninstalled the patcher and it worked, but again I'm having this issue. UPDATE, It looks like it has fixed its self, but I should probably leave the post here, just in case anyone else has the issue.
